Water Channel Being Constructed on Pramuka Island

Seribu Island Water Resource Sub-agency is constructing water channel and reservoir at residential of Pramuka Island, RT 04/04, Panggang Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Sub-district.

Sub-agency Head, Hendri, said the construction is based on residents' request during Musrenbang. The area was often inundated during heavy rain.

"We deploy eight personnel to construct water channel along 100 meters and two reservoirs by using manual tools," he said, Thursday (4/18).

According to him, the reservoir is functioned to flow water from the channel and road.

"Underground channel also makes the area looks neat," he continued.

This project is targeted to complete by the end of this month.

RW 04 Head, Panggang Island Urban Village, Titin, admitted happy with the fast response of the sub-agency.

"Hopefully the construction will complete on time to prevent inundatio during heavy rain," she admitted.
